Mains Cable Installations (LV/HV)

A comprehensive service that encompasses the installation of mains cables whether from existing networks, new substations or overhead lines; this includes working on both low and high voltage networks.

MPAN Number Application

MPAN Number Application and provision of metering services arranged involves the efficient submission of applications for MPAN numbers via the Distribution Network Operator. This includes liaising with the meter provider to arrange installation of meters to new connections.

HV/LV Network Extensions

The Jointing or connection of  various cable types and capacities to accommodate the change in position or extension of an existing network. This may include new network connections from substations or upgrading cables to support additional capacity requirements.

Substation Installation

Substations are implemented to reduce the electricity voltage, making it safer and easier to delivery the correct capacities of electricity to homes, businesses and infrastructure.

Residential substations vary significantly dependent on the supply requirements and are designed and built for their project specifications.

Our substation installation services include all associated cabling and connections to deliver our clients’ projects on schedule and within budget.

New Development Connections

The connection to the existing network to extend the supply to facilitate new developments. These works undertaken by the ICP are regulated, and following completion the network extension is adopted by the local DNO or IDNO as part of their supply network.

Point of Connection Application

Point of Connection Application and Design Approval involves us applying to the DNO for a point of connection approval and submittal of design drawings for new connections is included in our services, allowing our clients to focus on other tasks.

New Service Cable Installation

The Jointing to the mains network to install new service cables for a multitude of purposes including the supply of electricity to new developments, substations, lighting, electric vehicle charging, etc.

Arranging DNO & IDNO Network Adoption

New connections, alterations or additions to the electricity network once installed require adopting by either the local DNO or an IDNO. Our team arrange all relevant applications and legal documentation to facilitate the network adoption.

Temporary building supply (TBS)

Temporary metered building supplies ensure projects remain operational during demolition and construction phases, whilst securing the safety of personal by terminating electricity supplies from the site boundary. Temporary building supplies can be used to power site cabins/offices, tower cranes, charge battery tools etc.

Contestable / Non-Contestable Works

Work that ensures the flexibility for connections to be undertaken via our trusted ICP status, or as Non-Contestable Works generally completed by a DNO. As an ICP we are able to conduct the majority of these works also.
